Please note, due to the challenges of putting on a socially distanced race over several days during the Pandemic, there will be no volunteers, traffic control or aid stations on course. Please come prepared to self support for any food or water you may need on course. We have designed the course to have as few intersections as possible. When you do come to an intersection, you must follow the rules of the road and wait for any traffic. Below are our recommended routes. We will have timing points along these routes for those of you racing in-person.
The packet pick up will all be in the parking lot behind Dirt Road Brewing 1301 Main St, Philomath, OR 97370.
The timing point for the start and finish will be near the south east corner of eastbound Philomath Blvd and 13th street. This is so you can use the cross walk to safely cross the highway before starting your race time. Please see the course maps.

With a very spread out timeline and smaller race size, we anticipate about 10 people on the race course at any given time. Social distancing will be enforced. |

All OHA and CDC guidelines will be followed. 6ft social distancing will be strictly enforced. Hand sanitizer will be plentiful. Masks are required at packed pick up, when entering Dirt Road Brewing, and when approaching Best in the West Events crew and the E8 Timing trailer. No mask, no packet. Please mask up whenever you can. Masks are not required on course, but we do recommend you carry one for those times where you might encounter others. Best to be safe!
You will receive a timing chip and wrist band at packet pick up. This chip is to be worn on your wrist or ankle during the race. We will have split points at each turn around. This is an active timing system with live results meaning your friends and family can track you from home! More info on how to be tracked is on the results page. Timing chips must be returned to the timing trailer to receive a finish time. Lost chips are $85 to replace and will be billed accordingly.

All finishers will receive a free beverage after the race, courtesy of Dirt Road Brewing. If you sign up for the race by March 1st, you will also receive a 2021 pint glass!
Pots of Gold await the top finishers overall in each distance and can be picked up at Dirt Road starting at 6:30PM on Saturday after the race. Certificates will be available to download for age group finishers. Age groups 0-14, 15-19, 20-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99, 100+ |

Shirts are included and guaranteed for those who register prior to March 1st. After March 1st, shirt sizes and availability will be limited and are not guaranteed. We do have 2020 shirts available if you miss the shirt deadline.
Men's/unisex, women's and youth sizes are available. Day of race registration does not guarantee a shirt. All registrations after the shirt deadline will be given shirts on a first come first served basis at packet pick up. Please understand we have ordering deadlines and cannot order a large surplus during the pandemic. If you'd like a shirt, PLEASE sign up before March 1st. |
